Sell the Destination, Not the Airplane

One of my favorite sayings from one of my mentors is, “You need to be selling the destination, not the airplane.”

What this means is that you need to be selling the RESULTS, not the individual parts of your program. So many of us do this in our marketing when we’re launching our products and programs and start writing our marketing-speak.
